HEALTHCARE GUIDANCE
Currently through our partner companies we are able to offer some healthcare options for self employed artists and creative professionals. We have relationships with two Oregon insurance brokers who can help you navigate the muddy waters of existing healthcare insurance options in the state of Oregon for self employed people, and can offer limited healthcare options through a national program created specifically for artists.
We are also waiting for word back on the availability of FULL HEALTHCARE COVERAGE for members of the Working Artists Network in the state of Oregon - and will release that information as soon as the final paperwork is completed.
LIABILITY INSURANCE
Working Artists Network Members have access to low cost rates for annual general liability insurance for performing arts companies, studio rental liability insurance for visual artists, event liability insurance (a requirement for many artistic events), film & equipment liability insurance (for small, independent film shoots), public art liability insurance (covering both fabrication and installation, as well as providing coverage for the artwork itself), annual teaching artist liability insurance, director’s and officer’s insurance (which can also include employment practices insurance), and worker’s comp insurance.

Members of the Working Artists Network have access to a group of business professionals who are committed to helping artists grow and thrive as business owners. The professionals in our preferred provider program are generously offering our members discounts on their regular fees, as well as providing free or reduced rates to their workshops.
